AFRICAN AMERICAN GRADUATION AND RECOGNITION PROGRAM Kappa Beta Omega sponsors the annual African American Graduation Recognition Program attended by more than 150 students. Scholarship recipients are publicly announced and various certificates are awarded.
AKA INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
Kappa Beta Omega supported the AKA International Day of Prayer on August 26, 2018. Members of the sorority were asked to engage in simultaneous prayer and worship for peace among our sisterhood, communities and the world.
MISS FASHIONETTA DEBUTANTE BALL
Kappa Beta Omega presents its annual Fashionetta Debutante Ball each November as its signature scholarship fundraiser. The event has enabled the chapter to award over $300,000 in scholarships through the years.
THINK HBCU COLLEGE FAIR AND SPRING CONFERENCE
Each year, Kappa Beta Omega sponsors the Vallejo City Unified School District Willie B. Adkins Scholars Program College Fair and Spring Conference. The WBAS program is an after school college preparation program for high school students that encourages and enables African American students to enroll in colleges and universities. KBO donates thousands of dollars to support the out of state college tour of HBCUs. Many of the students are accepted into one or more HBCUs.

RELAY FOR LIFE
Kappa Beta Omega is a co-sponsor of the annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life which supports research to find a cure for cancer.
Kappa Beta Omega volunteers thousands of hours each year to address community needs through AKA programs and initiatives. The program theme for 2018-2022 is Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service. The International Program includes five program targets that are designed to advance the mission of Alpha Kappa Alpha with excellence and underscore our commitment to sustainable service: I.
